Anna Zvyagintseva (°1986, Dnipropetrovsk) studied at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv. She was a finalist of the Competition of Young Ukrainian Artists MUHI 2010. In 2011, as a member of the curatorial group "Khudrada", she became a co-founder of ISTM (Initiative of self-defense of working art). In 2020, she was a participant in the Gaude Polonia scholarship program of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland. In this context she worked at the Studio of Spatial Practices, at the Academy of Arts, Department of Media Art, Warsaw, Poland.

Currently, Zvyagintseva is living and working in Kyiv. In her practice, she often manifests imperceptible, or barely perceptible aspects of our lives, demonstrating their fragility and documenting the elusive moments of everyday life.

Her works were exhibited in: Galeria Labirynt (Lublin, Poland), Galeria Arsenał (Białystok, Poland), the Center for Contemporary Art Zamek Ujazdowski (Warsaw, Poland), MQ - MuseumsQuartier – AzW (Vienna, Austria), the Latvian Center for Contemporary Art ( Riga, Latvia), the Tobacco 001 Cultural Center (Ljubljana, Slovenia), the Badischer Kunstverein Karlsruhe (Karlsruhe, Germany), the Museum of Contemporary Art Leipzig (Leipzig, Germany) and others.

She participated in the Ukrainian pavilion "Hope!" at the 56th Venice Biennale in 2015; in the Kyiv Biennale: "The school of Kyiv" in 2015 and "The Kyiv International" exhibition of 2017.

She was also selected for several awards. She was a finalist for the Future Generation Art Prize 2018. In 2017 she received the main prize of the PinchukArtCentre, and in 2015 the special prize and audience prize. She was also a finalist for the main prize of the PinchukArtCentre in 2014 and of the MUHI in 2010.
