Otobong Nkanga explores the social and topographical relationship with our environment through drawings, installations, photographs, sculptures, tapestries, poems and performances. The drawings bring to light the memories and historical impact of human intervention in nature and examine the systems and methods associated with the extraction, processing and transport of raw materials.
