"There are no tyrannies that would not try to limit art, because they can see the power of art. Art can tell the world things that cannot be shared otherwise. It is art that conveys feelings."

Together with his friend, the American photographer Patrick T. Sellitto, Jan Fabre orders a lot of art magazines with the message ‘Bill me later’. The mailed magazines are then used by the two friends to build a wall in front of their apartment in Mott Street.

'Continued working on the 'Bill us later' project with
Patrick T. Sellitto these last few days.
If we keep it up several art magazines
will go bankrupt.
Today we put more than 700 mail order cards
(with false names and addresses in Europe)
in the mailbox.'
