“Не буває тираній, які б не намагалися обмежити мистецтво, бо вони бачать його силу. Тільки мистецтво передає почуття.”

The Joy of the Experience of Totality
Text , 2 p

In this manuscript Cox speaks positively about surrealism, contextualizing it in terms of the aftermath of WWI as well as in reaction to an unjust and conformist colonial world.  Surrealism sought to coherently 'repair' mankind, to provide a joy of experience of the whole.  This text appears to be an earlier version of his ‘The Meaning of Surrealism’.
